Glebe map glebe

The Glebe is located south of Ottawa’s downtown. It is known for its tree-lined streets, large old homes, its premier shopping area along Bank Street and the small town feeling. It’s mostly populated by families and the area has many children. The neighbourhood is home to Landsdowne Park, Frank Clair Stadium and other recreational facilities that area residents can enjoy. The Rideau Canal is close by for running, cycling, strolling and skating in the winter. The many parks along the water offer views of some of the most beautiful and expensive homes in the city. Each year on the last Saturday in May the neighbourhood puts on “The Great Glebe Garage Sale”. Participation from residents is strong and the event attracts many bargain hunters.
